Thread: Asus 1215P TouchPad

2011-11-25

oops, not solved.

"gpointing-device-settings" not save settings after logout or reboot. searched on net , found out users experienced same issue.

also, think initial setting of chiral-scrollings make users think there problem touch pad. better if selected 'small-box' (at chiral-scrollings starts) @ upper-right-corner only. currently, small boxes selected except 1 @ centre.

power manager of lubuntu has same issue setttings of brightness not saved. never knew anterograde-amnesia attack applications

horraayyy, solved.
remembered had downloaded "gpointing-device-settings" since did not appear on menu, thought not right one. found out in ".desktop" file there "onlyshowin=gnome". removed now.
being patient newbiew.

halo,

- lubuntu 11.10
- asus 1215p

windows, asus 1215p has synaptics-touchpad drivers.

lubuntu, currently, touchpad can used tapping, tap-and-drag, , vertical-scrolling.

horizontal-scrolling , chiral-scrollings not available.

should have 2 types of scrollings ?
(three types, actually, since chiral-scrolling can vertical , horizontal.)

thanks.
.

does user of lubuntu experience same issue concerning powermanager , gpointing not save options?
thanks.
