for first time using adobe speedgrade finalize video. when send video file adobe premiere pro speedgrade there appears green pixels on highlited parts of faces. see example screengrab.   when open image can see on lips of person in middle mean. case in several clips not of them.   this footage canon 550d, edited in premiere pro using avid dnxhd codec. clips stabilized in after effects using dynamic link option. there seems connection clips don't have after doing process again. in premiere pro footage seems without problems.   can me point me in right direction find sollution. hi,   it's hard see green dots on screen grab, can upload original png frame ?   can try export different format (i.e dpx instead of png) ?   thanks. dennis More discussions in SpeedGrade adobe

good morning all have old dell latitude c800 ati mobility graphics. running badly under windows xp decided give lubuntu go , installed lubuntu 11.10. caused split/fuzzy screen problem. found 'cure' in doing sudo service lxdm stop sudo xorg -configure edit xorg.config , move /etc/x11 sudo service lxdm start unfortunately far trying stop lxdm. screen clears , shows few lines of text quickly, clears again , left flashing _ in top left corner. here can nothing other reboot laptop. previoulsy had linux mint 11 lxde running along side windows xp , fix worked first go. trying lubuntu 11.10 worked faster off livecd mint did off hdd! suggestions might happening when stop service or if there alternative method can use set xorg.conf welcome feeling have bitten off more should have are running commands tty or within lxde (lxterminal)? if running while running lxde surely cause desktop clo

running zenmap, shows "4001/tcp open http-proxy squid webproxy" need port service. not using squid, did complete removal in synaptic , rebooted. zenmap still gave same above results. question is, how can close port available other service? i'm doing 3d-text in "ray-traced 3d"-rendering. when duplicate text, turn 90 degrees , add "gaussian blur"-effect make shadow, gaussian blur doen't show effect at, no matter how high turn up. gaussian blur works non 3d-objects , "classic 3d"-rendering though. doing wrong here? i've seen others exact same thing on tutorials , works them! try pre-composing shadow text first before applying guasian blur. i have wav files in project put pluraleyes, can't effects or change volume on individual clips. there no handles, , can change volume showing track volume handles, isn't ideal. can't understand why happening because i've edited wav files before. here properties 1 of clips in question...     i cannot put them on stereo track, though single mono track plays out in stereo.   anybody have ideas why happening , how can fix it? appreciated.   faq: information should provide when asking question on forum? ever since upgraded 11.10 when access server via tightvnc server wallpaper , desktop icons have created. missing gnome dash (when mouse hovers on far left) or sort of application launcher. xstartup file executes gnome-session. i've tried many xstartup scenerios none launch launcher or dash. appreciated. let me know if there additional information needed. hans ps, x11vnc launching :0 works fine, isn't long term solution. im having same sort of problem, except sounds know lot more do. im forced log in guest use app. launcher. also, im using unity plugin , compiz. hello there dear community! first, want thank op of this thread for referring me ndiswrapper. have exact same netbook model (asus eeepc 1000h) , must after switching ubuntu having such unrelliable wifi real pain. considered going window$, luckily found aforementioned thread first. followed directions , started looking better: installed ndiswrapper , use windows driver netbook, wifi reliable , strong... long system starting cold. system hangs on resume after suspend (to ram) or hibernate (to disk). referenced thread includes solution this: putting script in /etc/pm/sleep.d/ unloads module before sleeping , reloads after wakeup. simple enough, doesn't seem work. system still freezes when thawing hibernate or when waking suspend time time, , when starts up, wifi broken since network-manager applet reports "device not ready". removing kernel module, , loading in with: code: modprobe -r ndiswrapper; modprobe ndiswrapper doesn't se

hi in process of installing important security upgrades , recommended upgrades through update manager, managed partially through upgrade. there lot of files download let run while went off , did else. when got computer update manager displaying error stating several packages failed update did manage download. closed update manager , ran sudo apt-get install -f because had broken packages. command ran without errors. rebooted ubuntu update manager said needed reboot ubuntu in order update process complete. when rebooted ubuntu started usual took me command prompt enter user name , password (not @the ubuntu login screen yet). try sudo gdm , nothing happens @ point taken ubuntu gdm login screen computer hangs @ point. ubuntu 10.10 code: sudo service gdm stop code: sudo service gdm start Forum The Ubuntu Forum Community Ubuntu Official Flavours Supp
