i don't know why happening or changed on  machine, (admittedly) older toshiba laptop running windows vista. used able open pdf files read them, no problem.  today when  trying open pdf file, nothing happened. did ctrl-alt-delete , saw 20 acrord32.exe processes sitting there. if stopped 1 'image', 2 disappear. closed them , uninstalled called adobe air don't remember installing , uninstalled adobe reader.  tried 3 times download reader again didn't have luck because, apparently, using wrong browser. switched firefox, no luck. tried ie , worked, (ie 9.0.8112.16421, update version 9.0.14). installed download - slow, worked. aha! thought. problem fixed. clicked on pdf in mail need review , nada. tried open reader on it's own. nada. saved file c drive , tried open there. not nada... instead, got the  error message noted above.   the thing didn't do, guess, after install - have rebooted. somehow doubt fix while whole  crowd of (who waiting baited breath, sure, fi

joomla 3.8, установлен dj-catalog2. На сайте в выпадающем меню выводится несколько пунктов, которых нет в админке. Категории каталога, на которые вели ссылки в пунктах меню, удалены. Пунктов меню с указанными id нет ни в активных, ни в неактивных, ни в корзине. Думаю, что по какой-то причине они просто не отображаются в административной панели. Мне нужно их удалить, но удалить то, чего нет, крайне сложно. Внесла изменения, которые помогали пользователям в предыдущих версиях. В файле /modules/mod_mainmenu/helper.php строке 31 перед параметром $params убрала символ & Дальше советуют сделать то же самое в файле /libraries/joomla/html/html/menu.php, на 124 строке перед $children и в файле /libraries/joomla/html/html/grid.php строки 93,115,157 перед $row. Но в версии 3.8. в папке libraries нет этих файлов. Подскажите, в чем может быть проблема, и как ее решить. p.s. Я, конечно, могу удалить эти пункты через БД, но это не выход, т.к. проблема появляется периодически, а я не всегда могу

i trying non-technical friend business's website. in wombat-herding business, , trying improve site's ranking searches of "wombat herder." we enabled sef urls , created article @ wombat-herder. set 302 (temporary) redirect in .htaccess load article when loading root. domain (let's say) vagueallusionstomarsupialsdotcom, loading takes vagueallusionstomarsupialsdotcom/wombat-herder. good. the problem google search engine results, , url displayed below page's title tag. still shows vagueallusionstomarsupialsdotcom, not vagueallusionstomarsupialsdotcom/wombat-herder. friend have read second url, see if improve ranking keyword search. i pretty sure if changed temporary redirect permanent redirect, google start displaying destination url. did (i can see new 301 in devtools), alas url in google's search engine results unchanged. my question: how can affect url displayed in results? running joomla 3.5. thanks in advance insights can give me. ps: picked "wombat

i have spent better part of 2 days trying find answer seems there isn't one. when installed cs6 design standard on computer (mac pro / osx 10.8.2) jumped through ridiculous hoops required activate software off line. yesterday downloaded trial dreamweaver. have no trouble downloading or launching install. problem comes after sign in adobe id..... asked proxy settings. correctly enter user name , password , repeatedly message : "unable authenticate user. please check user name , password , try again" same message when cs6 tries update / run adobe application manager. tried access trial through creative cloud had same problem proxy username , password. tried creating exceptions on network connections under "bypass proxy settings these hosts & domains" - tried *.adobe.com, *adobe.com, , adobe.com. tried them , tried them separately. tried separating them comma , tried semi colon. *.adobe.com and/or *adobe.com, aam didn't ask me u.n. & pword - timed out.

i tried changing color in text "chair-man mills" red , seemed work in comp (see chairman red 1).  did selecting text , changing color in "fill color" under character tab.   when view in final render comp not red (see image chairman red 2).  ideas i'm doing wrong?  thanks, i'm total newb!   impossibel tel lwithout being hands-on, have adjustment layer on top of otehr comps called "color grade". pretty conspicuous , may nullify in teh pre-comps in terms of changing colors....   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe

greetings. i've been having several performance issues since i've installed oneiric (clean install on dell inspiron 14r 750 - 64 bits). temporary freezes media players becoming temporarily muted, which, may imagine, incredibly annoying. 1 thing i've noticed there lot of disk access going on time , remember reading article once changing (it's changing disk access memory access, iirc, i'm not expert on subject, can see), altho can't remember where. can guys please advise? measures can take improve things in here?
