hi there,   i creating web app use on ipad , have been using adobe muse this.     the web app needs work offline part have been using application cache in html5 this. caching correctly ipad (safari browser), however, after while, browser unable retrieve css , js complonents of site application cache. have deduced after mucking around, html references css , js files have version control stuck on end of it. seems work fine when online version number after ? ignored browser.   when browser accessing css , js files application cache, appears require version control number well. entire site falls over. takes day of being offline eventually, css , js files must purged browser cache , unable resolved application cache.   this annoying having go through every html file remove css , js version numbers.   does know if muse feature can switched off (no version controlling on js , css file) or have use product such dreamweaver? i have an eeepc 901 has 2 ssd drives 4 gb , 8 gb . installed "ubuntu 10.04 lts - lucid lynx" , , i'm happy it. problem if go home/ or "file system" have 168mb, if go "16 gb file system" (mounted in /media/) have 8.4 gb. question is, possible join (something unpartitioning , if that's word) 2 disks? or possible put parts of linux on 1 disk , others on other? avoid having reformat it. i'm little unclear on how partitions set on computer, can run code: df -h in terminal , post output i've better idea. note, if you've external drives/usb sticks etc please remove them before running above. nm-applet not show in system tray, thus, cannot connect internet. right clicking on bar , clicking "add panel" not give nm-applet option. yes, have "notification area"/system tray already. not sure going on here, reinstalling network-manager-gnome , rebooting bunch seems have fixed problem. however, never able connect access point using command line, , nice able this. i started having problem pausing videos in totem. using gstreamer backend. video play fine until hit pause or video reaches end. once happens entire program become unresponsive. way continue force quit program , restart. starting totem command line not produce error messages. couldn't find google searching, on ubuntu forums, or totem bug tracker. have idea on how troubleshoot further? using ubuntu 11.10 , using gnome shell if helps.
