Telephone form field adds a space to the ID fo the input field. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i created plugin, similar profile plugin, add more fields user registration form. used plugin guide on how build mine, read through documentation. have working correctly came across breaking custom javascript validation. reason telephone type fields being rendered empty space included @ end of id. i'm not looping through each fields set render fields because need them in specific order. , i'm using renderfield() method. i'm using layout override thought might causing it, used default protostart template test , still same results. haven't modified else don't know causing this.

it's not big of deal because rewrite javascript code able select input fields, thought i'd post find out if i've done. i'm new joomla want make sure i'm doing correctly.
