hello all,   i'm using adobe professional cs6, , actionscript 3.0.   to start have c# program feeds data out server in form of xml data. have flash program should receive data , i'll stuff it. had working in actionscript 1.0 need upgrade code actionscript 3.0, instead of trying convert stuff on new  actionscript version, i'm going re-write program.   so far i've defined eventlisteners of found examples of online using xmlsockets. of flash program connect xmlsocket server feeding out data, , server feeding data resends new data every 5-10 seconds or so.   so when grouping of xml data comes in on port defined, following function gets executed handling incoming data. eventlistener's function "socket.addeventlistener(dataevent.data, datahandler);"   ("socket" defined --> var socket = new xmlsocket(); ) . when new data comes in executes above function.   the trouble i'm having declaring new variable of type "xml" and using variable

hello!   i'm not sure if i'm experiencing bug, or if i'm doing wrong, please let me know if issue.   i'm working on project video 2 sources.  have mxf files canon xf300 , prores mov files blackmagic cinema camera.  i'm building project in premiere , grading in resolve.   when export project premiere (cs6 6.0.2 mac) , conform in resolve, mxf files appear linking properly, bmcc prores ones not (either around 10 seconds off, or time code extent error).   upon investigating noticed timecodes written xml file prores files appear incorrect.   in premiere if load 1 such file monitor, start @ 19:38:32:00.  when @ xml file shows 19;39;42;24.  mxf files in xml have correct times.   i tried building timeline (using same prores clip) in resolve exporting xml , bringing premiere.  loaded fine.  when export project , bring resolve, off again.  inspecting 2 files, resolve xml has correct time code, premiere's not (same listed above).  modified premiere's xml , changed time

hello, new here, hope i'm posting in right place , that. have exhausted search capabilities in trying set umask sftp sessions. there seems 2 general solutions offered on various forums, neither of working me. first use special umask flag within /etc/ssh/sshd_config, follows: subsystem sftp /usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server -u 0002 second create wrapper script around sftp-server process: tried creating shell script /usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server.sh with: code: #!/bin/bash umask 0002 /usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server ... telling sshd_config use that: subsystem sftp /usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server.sh (and of course restarting ssh either solution) know script executed tried echoing statement text file. and, tried using "002" instead of "0002". but, whenever create new file via sftp still has 755 permissions. i'm running ubuntu 11.04 openssh 5.8p1 , openssl 0.9.8o. i've been loosing sanity working on today. ideas appreciated.

g'day. had reason change video card on pc (broken fan) gigabyte gv-nx 86t512h (nvidia chipset believe). running dual boot bootmanager windows on 1 disk (primary) , ubuntu 11.10 on other. (i way son can still access untouched windows os games) worked when rebooted, , changed nothing. meanwhile tried smart alec , enable dual monitor display card supports this. after bit of research (and trying 'detect monitor' in system settings> display options) disabled driver in "additional drivers" - had none selected. again worked fine, , continued working forgetting dual display idea moment. shutdown/rebooted after awhile, , selected ubuntu on boot manager, normal. after short while of usual disk churning noticed did not ubuntu splash screen, , finished flickering horizontal lines on top 50% of screen , plain purple below lower 50% pof screen. can't access grub recovery mode (tried esc; cntrl-alt-f1; , shift key) , computer freezes. help!
