hi there. i'm moving out in few weeks. nice take file server me though not in need of it, because easier me manage , oversee. file server access both xp clients , ubuntu clients. on xp, use syncback se , on ubuntu use deja dup. i'm curious deja dup in particular how can utilize on wan. have assume traditional "smb" shares won't fly on wan , i'll have use ssh. start? have assume need forward file server's ip address through router ssh port in new house. multiple clients behind router @ parent's house? how work? also, within deja dup, put in server address? assume external ip of new house's ip isp provided? i'm trying iron out decent way utilize simple deja dup files file server @ house. additional insight appreciated. anybody? i tried install acrobat 5.0 windows 7 without sucess 64-bit or 32-bit? successful 32-bit version, of items have worked around. 1 change port of printer driver file (acrotray not work win7). once print file, file has opened in distiller complete process. there might possibility work workarounds in 64-bit version, may have play compatibility issues.   what recommend buy new version of acrobat (aa xi). hi guys, im running ubuntu 11.10 x64. after installed virtualbox, had user vboxusers group have more privileges on running virtual machines.. when tried to that, didn't used "-a" option, added myself vboxusers group, , deleted myself other group.. hi, remember using linux (don't know distros i'm sure more one) ages ago, , when started typing command in terminal , hit arrow key, show me commands started characters had typed. example, suppose recent commands in bash history (latest first) were: "ls -la", "grep foo /", "clear", "groupadd bar". if typed "gr" , hit arrow key, command "grep foo" appear, because recent matched "gr". not happen in ubuntu, nor has ages. when hit arrow key, last item (and last one, , on) in bash history shows up, no matter whether matches or not have typed far. there configuration file somewhere can edit have feature back? , way, there reason why "removed"? seems me extremely useful , can't see drawbacks in it... what if type ctrl-r first before entering letters , pressing arrow?
