Thread: Backing up changes for simple reinstall.. Can it be done?
hey guys, wondering if give me advice.
how easy preserve 10.10 install once have set way, laptop requires few changes ssd, backlight issue , aircrack issue, , while have created fast method of setting these things fresh install, still prefere able myself state of have customized install, instance set of docky, wallpapers, used programs , stuff, guess trying achieve comparable 1 of lame hp restore disks, or like..
thinking image, need image installer part of disc , bootable, not relying on usb drives or other swap disks if possible..
also, size limits, guess can ssd around 4gb full of customizations before had make iso, mean lot of helpful changes take long time install individually.. there need room image manager , boot stuff kbs..
suggestions guys?

some full image restore, gets outdated quickly. prefer backup things change , reinstall. can use same info on new install, not copy of over. 1 disadvantage of linux many choices.
