i installing joomla on top of bitnami provided lamp stack, , going smoothly aside 1 thing. when final step in web installation process, says "configuration.php not writeable," doesn't halt installation. @ end of installation, installation folder cannot removed. there workarounds this, such doing things manually through ssh, i'd set things works through web interface. perhaps i'm getting these errors because user php running daemon, while user owns joomla files bitnami. can change ownership of files daemon, or there better solution? i suspect (although not certain) either suffice files have owned same service. daemon:daemon choice prepared corrected! hi there, i've had issues 3.7.3 update , contacts, wondering if else has had same issues. one issue on single contact layouts display format had been reset sliders when on plain. had go through multiple sites after update , change plain. another issue can't work out on 1 website "address" information no longer shows though in options i've got "show" just found same on website i've updated. plain layout reset sliders, , address, suburb, postcode etc not showing when before. hi have setup nas running ubuntu server 11.10 3 drive array. have dropbox folder users can dump things "published" on nas. plan set perms of directory +w every 24 hours ill set perm -w .../nas/* chown root. when set these perms can still rename files. correctly unable delete or move files. happens both locally , via samba. bug? seams security risk trying write protect files , 1 can come , rename everything. on side note answer why can set file u+rx-w , still able delete if owner? all halitus i believe answer operations you're performing happening @ directory level. permissions on directory contains file? created test file in directory owned u+w permissions. applied u-w directory. couldn't rename file though own , have write permissions it. i have same issue op in backend of site too. every time go article manager, default order shown 'id descending' list of articles ordered id ascending. if go page 2 of article list, ordering corrected id descending. if go page 1 of article list should be. as post split off thread posted in, please read opening statement as: i have same problem op in thread: viewtopic.php?f=706&t=950202 on first accessing article manager, ordering default id descending, articles displayed thus: if go page 2 of article list, article ordering corrects itself: i can return first page , should be. not huge problem, more irritation, it's not unique problem other users reporting similar issues. i created pdf form in adobe livecycle designer es 8.2 , uploaded our companies intranet site. majority of computers in our company use foxit pdf viewer , after clicking on hyperlink display pdf in browser (happens in ie, chrome, , ff) times message "please wait... if message not replaced proper contents of document, pdf viewer may not able display type of document." how can edit form able display different pdf viewers adobe reader? options need set in livecycle other viewers aren't restricted rendering document , compatible them?   thanks help. in humble opinion can change default settings. you have set adoeb reader default viewer. other forms don't supported xfa-forms.   if not can't sure forms works correct.   kind regards mandy More discussions in LiveCycle Forms adobe
