Thread: Samba - disabled linux users can still log in

hi everyone,

have noticed samba users can still log shares if linux account has been disabled.

in smb.conf, have 'guest' disabled, 'security' set 'user', , 'browsing' off.
user prompted credentials, , can log in despite being disabled.

i'm wondering if normal behavior, , if so, reasoning is?

time!
