i've installed , attempted use both amorak, , gtkpod ipod manager same "....error (-4)" message;

also libimobiledevice-utils date

have circular error/update button @ top right of screen when clicked tells me have unmet dependencies, offers updates tried install returned 'broken packages' message , suggests running code tried run gives me message: "open (13 permission denied)...
