Thread: Deja Dup - Over WAN?


hi there. i'm moving out in few weeks. nice take file server me though not in need of it, because easier me manage , oversee. file server access both xp clients , ubuntu clients. on xp, use syncback se , on ubuntu use deja dup.

i'm curious deja dup in particular how can utilize on wan. have assume traditional "smb" shares won't fly on wan , i'll have use ssh. start?

have assume need forward file server's ip address through router ssh port in new house. multiple clients behind router @ parent's house? how work?

also, within deja dup, put in server address? assume external ip of new house's ip isp provided?

i'm trying iron out decent way utilize simple deja dup files file server @ house. additional insight appreciated.

anybody?
