Adobe Fixes Critical Problem, Keeps Fix from Some Users

before explaining situation, i'll ask question community front: there way single retail-licence holder myself this patch or otherwise fix text entry box focus problem? (don't post stolen versions of patch.)

 

i hold retail license captivate 6 , on brink of finishing 3-month-long project. thing keeping me publishing interactive software emulation problem captivate software purchased: cursor not placed inside text entry box when box appears (which me @ start of slide).

 

 

so, after quick search on problem discovered there patch available includes fix it.

 

 

i ran updates inside captivate webpage instructed, problem persisted. after getting on horn adobe, turns out patch available volume licence holders , subscription-based license holders.

 

 

the patch contains both enhancements , fixes, making they've sort of monetized guess incentivizing/rewarding non-retail license holders. 1 simple question remains though: why haven't made bug fixes available customers? why have bend on backwards fix problem shipped? problem has been fixed! why isn't fix included in captivate's normal updates?

 

 

according dude talked adobe, way me fix problem subscribe or buy volume license. i'm going pay $20 month of subscription patch can publish video. , again next 4 videos in series, assuming fix isn't pushed normal updates then. (apparantly fixes dissipate when subscription does)
