Thread: copying file through Scp protocol

hi guys ;
person want file through scp computer lab. @ university. stay @ dormitory , ı need file said file trough scp in terminal there me ?

file's name ı want "alides.txt" computer name erenay@erenayinki , file in computer named e1819192@divan

the computer name looks odd, should have dots in rather @ (@) sign.

syntax scp scp source destination

if can figure out right hostname remote computer, scp this:

code:

scp erenay@divan:alides.txt .

but won't work until figure out proper host name remote computer.
