Thread: Laptop overheating + other issues

i have hp pavillion g7, intel core i3-2310m @ 2.1ghz, 4gb of ram , intel hd dedicated graphics card.

say, disappointed. had , have, great previous experience android phone. it's fast, it's advanced (can change anything? can.) , reliable. today heard somewhere linux system on laptop let run faster. believed it. bad.

first of - system runs working turtle speed - frozen windows standard. temperature goes enormous values - laptops fan cant deal them (it turned off, telling me prevent overheating). i'll add never happened on win7. cannot ever hear fan when im using it.
can play skyrim , other modern game - , not using laptop badly. cares explain why , how fix it?

thing. unity interface. why it's "apple-like"? heard many things didnt think suck bad. just... simple.

yeah. here goes:
1. how can make laptop work faster ubuntu?
2. how can take control of temperature of laptop? need lower it!
3. previous interface better unity? mean, dont need linux visuals - need make laptop run faster , better. unity wont let me that.
