Thread: DVB: ASUS MyCinema U3000 mini stopped working.

hello:

case weird. i've been using asus mycinema u3000 mini (an usb dongle watch dvb-t) long time. didn't matter version of ubuntu (ubuntu, xubuntu , lubuntu) or architecture used (32 or 64 bit). ok , happy user.

has been until 3 days ago, when decided test linux mint (which employs ubuntu kernel, of course). tried scan channels, using programs "scan" , "w_scan", didn't find (almost) anything.

under these circumstances, today i've decided xubuntu again. but, surprisingly, i'm being unable make work too. i've installed lubuntu little later, same results exactly.

firstly, i've thought dvb device might broken. however, it's recognized system and, when scan, finds out right tv transponders of town. indeed, detects , tune 5 channels (2 tv's , 3 radio's). can watch , listen them properly. others channels "lost".

later i've considered might have firmware or drivers included kernel 3.0. version of lubuntu i've installed today 11.04 (which worked fine 2 months ago) , fails :s .

when execute "w_scan", except 1 transponder (the 1 "contains" 5 channels), many of these errors:

info: nit(other) filter timeout
this mean wrong dvb signal. i've been able tune signal usual tv. also, i've tested dongle on different computer, in different place (in same area , town) but, again, failed tunning whereas tv worked without problem.

sincerely, i've no idea why it's happening. idea?

i'd clarifying consider relevant. @ home i'm able channels single transponder (excuse me if therm not right). however, @ other place i've tested dvb dongle, channels different transponder. believe it's weird. it's same transponder on each place. both places in same area, in same town.

apart of this, remember that, when able tune tv channels of area, suffered problem similar one. however, repeated channel scan (using w_scan or mythtv) , got channels again.

i've no idea these technologies, taking account messages w_scan, "something" has changed in tv signal itself?

good morning you! since joomla! version still running on 3.7.5, trying update current version 23.8.1. tried, got white page due incompatibility 1 of extension (page builder pro). decided first upgrade extension, , trying again. tried update, received error message of dublicated tables. went phpmyadmin , deleted these tables manually. same error appeared again, when tried update part. extension. in order rid of extension, tried remove extension via extension manager. hit "remove" button, got logged out. while trying log admin, got message: you not have access administrator section of site. . yes, changed _user table in phpmyadmin, , checked configuration.php, i'm still not able lock admin. however, checked , browsed internet solution, couldn't find hint, excepted, had similar issue , asked post output of "forum assistant". have no idea if narrow problem, @ least gotta try! of appreciated! thank in advance! part i: forum post assistant (v1.3.5) : 2nd november ...
