Thread: Mounting Remote FTP Folder as a Local Folder

hi ubuntuforums community... how 1 mount remote ftp folder in ubuntu 11.10? remember used easy in previous versions. had go "places", connect server, enter in details, , saved permanent location navigate within quanta. used easy this: http://ubuntuguide.net/an-easy-way-t...stem-on-ubuntu

fast forward few years. no more places. connect server still exists, doesn't save ftp location mounted folder. , when log off, disappears. quanta gone, , i've been getting used bluefish instead.

there simple way mount remote ftp location local folder? /whatever/foldername? if not, there easy-to-follow tutorial? tried 1 -- http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-to-mou...in-ubuntu.html -- terminal gave me error "line 16" in fstab file (the 1 supposed add in previous step).

seems things have gotten needlessly complicated since last used ubuntu around 2007/08. appreciated. thanks!

edit: know how add bookmarks ftp locations... there way mount 1 onto local folder? ~/ftpfolder/ or something?

Falang and too many redirects - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello i don't know if i'm posting in right place , i'm apologise have searched solution long time , couldn't find . my problem starts when have install component falang (translation component ). after time decided uninstall , problem starts. go extension tab meny in left column press manage button, list on right found falang component , delete it, when did website not accessible did stupidest thing install falang package file 1 more time , here problem, when trying open website message showing: "website redirected many times. try clearing cookies. err_too_many_redirects" i have cleared cookies didn't help. have used tool "header checker tool" , result "301 moved permanently " please because don't know do. thank you setka Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Extensions for Joomla! 3.x
