Thread: Unity is the worst desktop I have ever seen

i have tried unity couple months now. have done best use , find least productive , hardest interface use have ever seen.

problems... no easy way add things launcher. idea can start app , lock to launcher checking "keep in launcher" option doesn't work apps.

total garbage once app has launched, can't launch second copy. terminal example or home folder. having multiple terminals open or multiple folder browsers open common , can't done application launcher. total garbage!

home folder doesn't work!

go ahead , click it. sure takes home folder. navigate folder downloads or pictures or not. click home folder again in application launcher. nothing! don't new home folder window. current file manager window doesn't go home folder. again, failing of application launcher.

can't configure apps single launch or open new copy on each click.

can't move stupid application launcher bar bottom of screen.

hey people! screen wider tall! can see more if use width instead of height!!!

drop down menus on other operating systems offer better organization faster access unity.

unity has 1 place shines... touch screen devices big clumsy fingers doing navigation. when using mouse, easy (if not easier) use drop down menus.

going gnome. hope ubuntu gets being productive user interface putting gnome in driver seat instead of unity.
