Pre-composed layers not consistantly casting shadows?

so. i've been trowling through th interwebs answer , appears lot of people have come accross similar issues yet still solve little hiccup.

 

i have bunch of 3d layers sitting on 3d plane. going swimmingly until animated these layers in individual pre-compositions, when shadows disappeared. shadow settings set correctly, lights in right places, layers separeted on z axis , there no effects on anything.

 

i'll include images gist:

for reason, 1 shadow working. i've checked settings , nothing seems different between them.

and 1 of non-working comp:

now pre-comps no longer interacting ground @ all. can see working 1 in background hanging out half way through floor front characters should doing same aren't.

and finally, reason, @ 7second mark, works again!?

now, nothing changes @ 7 second mark, camera , lights in same place. none of figures have moved, no comps have ended. on earth happening??

 

can me?

show timeline of main comp. if works specific point, means before point otehr layer or feature active breaks 3d rendering - adjustment layer, layer style, whatever.
