Quiz not advancing after incorrect answer (quiz uses user variables to show wrong answers)

hello all,

 

long time lurker, first time poster. can me.

 

after viewing excellent video on adobe captivate blog "so right answers anyway" created quiz user variables , conditional advance action. displays red crosses next each question incorrectly answered @ end of quiz.

• i set user variable each question value of 0. on incorrect answer variable set 1.
• at end of quiz slide lists question , shows red cross next each question variable set 1. uses conditional action triggered "on enter"

 

this works, problem when preview quiz (in browser or swf), on incorrect answer failure caption appears not advance next question when click anywhere or press y. works ok on correct answers.

i can sovle adding next button, want understand i'm doing wrong.

 

• using captivate 6.0.1.240 (boxed copy)
• windows 7
• images on quiz properties and  conditional action below

 

any appreciated.

i tested work flow on 6.1.319 , works fine. bit guessing in wild... no 6.0.1.240 around moment. seems strange, because simple action assign action should release playhead. of course question slide , not behave expected. try replace assign action standard advanced action 2 statements, this:

• assign var_question_1 1
• continue

 

and please, let me know if works? difference between 2 versions, not sure @ all.
