Can't get SmartSound to work with Premiere Elements 11

i recognize several questions smartsound have been raised here, can't find answer responds specific issues, are:

 

• i can't serial number smartsound -- yes, see button click during set-up within premiere elements, when do, sent web page error message:  "error: no such cgi app - /var/www/ci/ss_ci/trunk/public_html/backend/dispatch.pl may not exist or not executable process." 
• no doubt related, program might not set completely, while can access "use smartsound" link under music, , there, see box sonicfire pro 5 (which gather same older quicktracks?), can't send, export, drag or otherwise sound fies premiere elements. (when click send, nothing happens.)
• i've gone smartsound webpage, haven't found links explain what's -- or mention free plug-in elements. i've found full-priced versions of programs.
• i've uninstalled , reinstalled smartsound, using file link on adobe site, premiere elements directs me -- have been unable past error - no such cgi, etc.(i've searched message, didn't find understand.)

 

as background, working through steve grisetti's tutorial premiere elements 11 on lynda. com, i'm stalled @ #5, audio , production tools...

i got stuck too.  messed on , off days.

 

the problem "patch" smartsound, not adobe, needed fix it.  found link e-mail smartsound support , complained not work.  within hours emailed me link patch.  downloaded it, ran , worked steve said.  before patch, nothing work right.

 

that said, don't find built in smartsound effective me.  works well, steve shows, track or two.  once working can buy more tracks $50! 

 

the key advantages smartsound is music made in background of video , can created length.  smartsound added capabilities vimeo tracks $2.  used vimeo/smartsound track last week hawaii theme vacation video.  worked wonderfully well.

 

instead of using smartsound button in pre, go vimeo, select track, download computer, put project add video media hdd, drag timeline , adjust volume.  prefer put on audio 2.

 

there growing number of music track sources can royalty free clips free on up.  can downloaded , used through "add media".  i'm developing side hobby of collecting , creating sound clips!  have things traffic, babbling brooks , rain.  downloaded.  few recorded camcorder.  unlink video track , save sound track.

 

unless adobe , smartsound adjust way works inside pre, think better off doing alternate way.
