Thread: 10.04 Monitor Unknown, unable to detect 2nd monitor


i have dual boot system, using 10.04 ubuntu. lenovo x220 laptop. trying connect 2nd monitor laptop getting no display on it. when go system->monitors says monitor: unknown. not have xorg.conf in etc/x11. not sure if driver problem, xorg.conf, intel / ubuntu 10.04 issue? thoughts?
