Thread: dconf - help making a setting perm


basically know can done gconftool - settings different dconf seems...

goal

/org/gnome/gnome-panel/layout "toplevel-id-list" set []

default when login set 2 panels.. want remove those

im wondering terminal command can issue change it..

e.g.
code:
dconf --set /org/gnome/gnome-panel/layout/toplevel-id-list --type string "[]"
- know doesnt work...

, cannot find place in gconf-editor otherwise have used
code:
 gconftool-2 --set /org/gnome/gnome-panel/layout/toplevel-id-list --type string "[]"
setting...

ok... after investigating... see gsettings equivilant of gconftool-2

how can use set value of

/org/gnome/gnome-panel/layout/toplevel-id-list

[]
