Thread: Removing system default flash support.

hey guys,
on previous installs i've noticed during installation user install multimedia support run right out of box. enjoy feature however, every time select option, flash-player major pain. i'd go in , uninstall , install adobe. started leaving option unchecked , installed after system setup. yesterday, wanted hurry , done installation , checked option again. i'm having problems system , install adobe instead of whatever ubuntu has placed in restricted extras. i've forgotten flash player that's installed default called. can me out? internet keeps telling me gnash when search gnash in repos, says it's not installed.

you can search through installed packages:
code:
dpkg -l | grep 'flash\|adobe\|gnash\|swfdec'
