Thread: Computer won't boot ANY Linux Distro...
this problem driving me crazy. computer has never been able past first ubuntu splash screen when running live cd. have tried ubuntu 8,9,10,11, server editions, x86 , amd64, kubuntu 11, fedora(i know might not belong here) no success. computer stops on booting. in ubuntu, 4 dots changing color go , go forever. in kde, blue screen appears. ubuntu server halts on line saying (i believe) "running debian-installer". have never ever been able boot system linux distro, let alone install it. exception parted magic, works charm, can hardly used desktop os. have performed many successful installations on other computers.
