Can I realistically test a form with Reader if I also have Acrobat pro on my machine?
i have both reader x , acrobat pro x on machine. create forms using adobe acrobat pro. clients (who typically have reader) later fill out these forms , save them.
once or twice customers been unable save forms , i've had recreate them. don't know error was, 2nd forms worked fine. however, don't want present non-working forms!
if test forms using reader, acrobat pro out of picture completely? is, can count on test being realistic, or installation of acrobat talk secretly installation of reader , enable me more if had reader (like customers)?
thanks!
yes, testing reader independent of acrobat, there's no collusion. assuming forms reader-enabled, problem on end. i'd check see if they're in fact using reader, version, exact text that's displayed in purple document message bar, , if error messages displayed.
