Super users can't edit after update from 3.6.2 to 3.7.5 - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,

last week, updated site , extensions j! v3.6.2 j! 3.7.5.
i thought went well, until customer reported not edit in front-end.
i checked , indeed, when click edit link of article, result is:

http://www.website.com unable handle request.
http error 500

the account has super user privileges.

my super user account (which used perform updates) working fine.

i checked back-end using customers super user account:
- can log on
- can check articles in
- can edit modules
- cannot edit articles, categories

i installed aclmanager , had diagnostic. fixed reported, in green. still issue remains
i created new super user account, resulted in same result: no editing possible.
i placed customers super user account temporary in registered group, saved account , moved super user group: no solution.

i checked extensions > manage > warnings: no warnings listed.

i'm not sure go here. have customer working super user account temporary work around.

any advice on welcome !

a 500 error isn't acl thing, it's scripting or memory error. if turn on error reporting, or take @ error_log , find?

good morning you! since joomla! version still running on 3.7.5, trying update current version 23.8.1. tried, got white page due incompatibility 1 of extension (page builder pro). decided first upgrade extension, , trying again. tried update, received error message of dublicated tables. went phpmyadmin , deleted these tables manually. same error appeared again, when tried update part. extension. in order rid of extension, tried remove extension via extension manager. hit "remove" button, got logged out. while trying log admin, got message: you not have access administrator section of site. . yes, changed _user table in phpmyadmin, , checked configuration.php, i'm still not able lock admin. however, checked , browsed internet solution, couldn't find hint, excepted, had similar issue , asked post output of "forum assistant". have no idea if narrow problem, @ least gotta try! of appreciated! thank in advance! part i: forum post assistant (v1.3.5) : 2nd november ...
