Thread: No video out and audio out in Skype

okay! should update 11.10 update manager insists do?

initially, had no problem audio out, of fixes given in thread started eradicated audio out in skype well. audio , video work outside of skype.

have posted mpost under here detailed info alsa script:

told in other thread should install libv4l-0:i386, not find in synaptic not install in terminal.

maybe need install default audio , video settings, if can done?

have been told pulseaudio , skype don't seem work well, tried switch use alsa plug=ins in multimedia selector (that have set to). but, in skype, there no alsa option in audio. pretty sure skype should using alsa, know nothing, bear me. hope kinds of make sense you!
