Thread: Graphics driver for VirtualBox / Linux gaming.

so since ubuntu seems not of windows games try run, wine, trying set virtualbox running xp. graphics driver seems generic 1 virtualbox. added on directx compatibility still graphics driver seems run low video settings. there way virtualbox utalize hardware video card?(nvidia geforce 9600gt). i've tried download driver can't install because virtualbox isn't recognizing card.

i'm not dead set on using virtualbox trying run following programs on ubuntu 11.04(would prefer not upgrade 11.10 11.04 better, if makes things run.). list problems having each incase there alternate solution.

world of warcraft - frequent crashes when updating , lag.
curse client - toc screen goes blank when tryng install won't continue
steam - program seems freeze alot , won't load games installs
dragon age origins(and awakening x-pack) - screen goes blank @ toc agreement , won't continue.

mass effect - choppy videos , game play , low graphics quality.

enjoy ubuntu why refusing go windows full time there linux destro perhaps better games linux? preferably 1 similar in operation ubuntu.

sorry newb questions doing best can figure out.

hi, virtualbox not play games well.

other issues go link , says , fix of choopy issues, not play games have read world of war craft plays ok in wine.

How to Render a TIFF image sequence with After Effects or Premiere

so shot timelapse in raw using d5200.  developed images, imported after effects make composition @ 1080p 24fps, clip 15 seconds long.  rendered clips few ways , none of them want:   i used h.264 first, pixelated , blocky, doesn't retain smooth resolution. h.264 output mp4 6.5 mb. then tried lossless , output avi awesome resolution file 2 gigs! not vlc media player play smoothly without buffering. last tried h.264 bluray output m4v file 45 mb , can't play.   so i'm here asking way go is.  when download films, aim 1-2 gig 720p or 1080p file on 2hr films.  resolution great, audio great , file said 1.5gigs average.  rendering settings should using file this? should importing premiere pro first or what?   -thanks bruno   for reference, here workflow:   i followed adorama rich harrington time-lapse youtube video on workflow was:   developed raw files in camera raw used image processor create tif files imported after effects tif sequence i...
