CF 10 - cfcompile.bat

i'm setting cf10 sp 9 on copy of existing web site on development server etc.

 

i ran cfcompile.bat against web site , compile took 107 sec  , there somthing 14000 files compiled -- can't seem find .class files (i think) supposed created. 

 

what missing?

jay, purpose of precompile utility (by default) precompile them same way cf would, running tool puts resulting .class files in same place go when cf compiles them during normal page execution (assuming have “save class files” enabled in cf admin caching page). realize may not know location (and it’s not mentioned on cf docs page cfcompile tool).

 

in cf10, location \cfusion\wwwroot\web-inf\cfclasses (where cfusion if have not created multiple instances).

 

if wonder, no, not matter whether have “save class files” enabled in cf admin when try use cfcompile tool. save files cfclasses directory, regardless.

 

(also, note if had used -deploy argument cfcompile tool, let name destination directory resulting files. form of tool intended create files take , put on other server, , sourceless cfm files, not class files.)
