How much load can AMS handle
i using fms training application client. app simulates telephone conversation. users hear audio pulled down fms, record themselves. app streams audio fms using rtmp. question: if there 250 - 300 users simultaneously using app, impact on server? can server handle many simultaneous connections without performance hit? client concerned server not able handle it. have no idea whether amount of traffic negligible or serious issue. information appreciated.
also, how perform load testing? right i'm using uvault fms server , install fms on client's box. there way load testing in advance of having fms on client's machine?
hello j,
may advise have @ performance testing tools?
nothing else load tests, based on real-life scenarios, can better give insights , evidences whether server can support load , service quality level can deliver users.
to honest you, work @ neotys, editor of neoload, load testing solution. neotys partner of adobe flex. neoload designed load test applications (including adobe rtmp), realistically simulate users activities, , monitor servers behaviors. can download trial version of neoload free.
i believe neoload solution provides strong rtmp support outstanding ease of use (no script, full graphical user interface, rtmp calls decoded in xml, , on).
you can read mode neoload here : http://www.neotys.com/product/technologies-rtmp-load-testing.html
