hi,
i trying update joomla 2.5.28 3.5.1. using instruction here: https://docs.joomla.org/joomla_2.5_to_3.x_step_by_step_migration
unfortunately, when run update components - joomla update, have error:
index column size large. maximum column size 767 bytes. sql=alter table `#__menu` engine=innodb;
i tried search issue in forum / google, basic joomla user, don't know how fix that. possible fix issue in 'easy' way?

- before trying else?
as "easy", relative know.
i read bit in year-old thread (https://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=913699) , 1 suggestion run database fixer , try again (extensions>manage>update>database>fix)
if works, great. if not there other things consider , try in thread.
