i bought  pdf book , open tfirst  without password.because adobe id not authorizing it. deactivate computer.now again acticvate computer adobe id , try open book not opening. saying id not associated item.even there no option of opening without id , password..

now should do..

i think you've fallen 1 of traps adobe drm system lays users (details below).

i can suggest 2 things:

1. contact bookseller , see if willing give second go new .acsm file ~ buying new copy.  have hears vendors helpful , not.

when buy book link .acsm file , download it.

you use ade (adobe digital editions) open .acsm file , download 'real' .pdf or .epub book;

at point copy of book associated id in use on ade @ time.

there no way remove association , associate book different id.

 

when use ade without giving adobeid, invents kind of anonymous/implicit id.

that id has limited uses; eg can't used authorize other device or computer.

also, once id 'lost' reregistering ade 'real' adobeid, anonymous id cannot recovered.

if access drm book using id, book associated id.

 

ade gives warnings running without registering adobe id; these warnings not strong enough give users , idea of consequences.
