Thread: Is a 3D desktop possible in a VM?


hi

running ubuntu 11.10 in virtualbox on win 7 laptop. great take advantage of graphics card on laptop enable 3d desktop in unity see like.

if run: -

yet know graphics card should able handle it. brand new i7 vaio supports 3d movies , games etc.

can tell me if possible set run 3d desktop?

in advance

i run 3d unity in vm, make sure running latest vbox or whatever (i think vmware 3d aswell) , enable 3d acceleration graphics settings in vm , thats it.

thats me anyways
