Thread: Ubuntu Forums needs a UNITY sub-forum

a unity sub-forum should created , prominently listed among main support categories. sub-forum have helpful sticky threads on topics fallback mode, alternate desktop environments, 10.04 lts, , other distros still using gnome 2. i'm imagining polite , respectful sub-forum discussing pros , cons of, , alternatives to, unity. members sick of topic can avoid sub-forum altogether.

unity ubuntu's #1 visible , unique feature sets apart other distros. unity discussion should front-and-center, not tucked away in recurring discussions. sense frustration forum members want share experiences rebuked "whining" or "pointless complaining." it's two-edged sword: if feedback "pointless" (in sense decision-makers @ canonical not closely following forums) harmless. best moderators come terms , set appropriate venue such discussion.

respect long-time forum member posting first-ever forum feedback,
snowpine

with unity being part of ubuntu release , default de believe 111.10 support forums etc appropriate. if unity optional add on or downloadable de seperate support etc forums appropriate. see no real benefit splitting.
