Thread: Internet connection problems

am having great problems run application in terminal due internet settings. believe. getting following error time since installation of ubuntu 11.10. able surf on internet.

using wired connection , proxy server. should change settings can run applications in terminal , ubuntu software center. using ubuntu 11.10.

i run in terminal -

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

try , install synaptic again.
