Export an alternate layout from a indesign book

hello,

 

i'm working on big file, has been, size reasons, separated in multiple files have been assembled in indesign book

 

problem: document edited print , interactive pdf ipad, why have created alternate layout ipad version, contains navigation based on hyperlinks, linking different pages , documents book.

 

 

but here thing, when exporting whole book pdf (using indesign book panel), can't choose layout want export, can when export single document several alternate layouts

what when export single file 2 alternate layouts interactive pdf

what when export indesign book 2 alternate layouts interative pdf

 

 

why that? there way can export 1 layout without having re-assemble whole document 1 file?

if export whole book is, 2 alternate layouts following each other , it's big mess, not mention hyperlinks don't work anymore.

 

also, if way make 1 file, file heavy worked with, it's 280 pages long, hd images on every page ( , alternate layouts double pages...)

 

does have solution?

the book panel never designed alternate layouts. when engineers working on feature, had whole lot of stuff add , not priority. priority export adobe digital publishing suite.

 

why not break 2 or 3 files shorter, alternate layouts in each?
