Updating J3.* to 3.8.0 breaks sites - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all

i have multiple j3 sites using range of frameworks (helix, gantry, joomla core) , sites breaking when updating via joomla engine , manually via filezilla - white screens on both front , backends, no error messages, no menus.

the problem replicates across localhost (mamp) , live servers.
on localhost have switched php7 , makes no difference, problem persists.

the issue applies update package only. clean installation of 3.8.0 works normally.

any thoughts?

an update cannot correctly performed uploading files , extracting them, missing several critical update steps when working way. if must update way whatever reason, need use script in signature line finish update.

Falang and too many redirects - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello i don't know if i'm posting in right place , i'm apologise have searched solution long time , couldn't find . my problem starts when have install component falang (translation component ). after time decided uninstall , problem starts. go extension tab meny in left column press manage button, list on right found falang component , delete it, when did website not accessible did stupidest thing install falang package file 1 more time , here problem, when trying open website message showing: "website redirected many times. try clearing cookies. err_too_many_redirects" i have cleared cookies didn't help. have used tool "header checker tool" , result "301 moved permanently " please because don't know do. thank you setka Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Extensions for Joomla! 3.x

Putting a Flash inside a Flash?

i'm debating on creating website on flash profession cs6, wondering if there's way embed flash automatic photo gallery have created flash website. possible? if yes, how do it?   also, site promises pretty complicated in future store , such. idea use flash type of site? you can.  need either load dynamically separate file or build file movieclip.  cannot import might image because lose code in result.   to load dynamically, usiung loader class (serach google: "as3 loader tutorial") More discussions in ActionScript 3 adobe
