Pixelation occurs when I use the Adjust panel
in previous posts on discussion forum asked in getting clean, non-pixelated clips timeline. able changing project settings each time added media. it's ridiculous, though, having change presets each time add media. adobe premiere elements , tutorial (pre11) have on computer:
"by default, premiere elements uses avchd preset tv standard specify when install program. select new preset create projects in different format. preset select becomes default, used new projects, until select preset."
and here's chad perkins says in chapter 3 of learning video:
"pre 11 automatically , examine footage , make project settings based on footage - automated process makes setting video projects easier previous versions of premiere elements."
evidently pre 11 not responding in automated way canon fs200 flash memory camcorder. each time import footage have change new project settings ntsc-avchd full hd 1080i 30 hard disk flash memory standard 48 khz.
anyway, after doing this, got 2 4 minute videos clean , sound clean. 1 video made in english , other in spanish. (opening , closing titles, 1 still graphic, , ten clips) clips, talking head against white background, seem little dark. tried lighten 1 clip gamma correction , looked perfect in monitor. when looked @ first clip on timeline, saw same unacceptable pixelation!
trimming clips no problem - fun. why pixelatiion when try lighten clips? simple editing tasks should straightforward task no problems. i'm not editing life of pi.
is original footage mov files? because movs can include of hundreds of codecs, premiere elements can have trouble identifying file's properties , automatically setting project. but, if connect camcorder computer usb cable , use premeire elements' add media/from flip or camera tools video camcorder computer, not case.
did use premiere elements' add media/from flip or camera video cam computer?
as pixelation, have rendered timeline (by pressing enter)? if there yellow lines above clips on timeline in expert view, care looking @ soft render, can pixelated. rendering timeline create temporary video file better represent final output like.
much of covered in books and in free 8 part basic training tutorials. have checked out these tutorials yet?
