Thread: What is "install RELEASE"??

hi,

i've upgraded 10.10 11.04 update manager.

in ugly new launcher panel on left of screen, first item on top called "install release" , icon looks same 1 find in live cd install system hard disk.

if click it, launches seems installer.

supposed install? 11.04 installed. doesn't make sense me.....

i never upgrades, clean installs, not sure, upgrade downloaded , letting select when install now?

upgrade process first downloads , installs, in case connection drops in middle of upgrading, if remember correctly.
