i have been using ubuntu years, , got large (2tb) external hd go crazy lots of different installs - laptop old , small (hp pavilion zv6000, 2004/5 vintage) , 3 or 4 oss fit on 93gb hd. worked fine, grub finds installs in ext4 extended partition , boot if machine hasn't been turned off. have start install on laptop's hd first, before external hd becomes available. laptop dying, , taking on newer machine - more ram, more hd space, more oomph round. when plug external hd ubuntu installs on it, mounted ok, , grub finds them, won't boot them if restart rather cold boot. set bios enable booting external devices, install first ubuntu usb stick, put external device option 3rd, after dvd/cd drive , internal hd. left network boot disabled. error message says partition (correct uuid) not found, , follows line saying drive hd1 not report c/h/s numbers. need boot external hd? machine i'm working sony vaio vgn-fw235j. ...

hey all, have single user who's ps (cs6) seems (or atleast, great majority of time) corrupt large .psd documents. doesn't seem matter if working created files, or starting scratch. if saves file larger 900mb, corrupts , nobody can open anymore. i've tried removing entire cs6 design suite, , reinstalling it, issue persisted. have 10 users on identical systems have never had issues, , never had issues until 2 weeks ago. far know, nothing major changed on system when started happening. have ideas on how can stop file corruption? could bad hard disk, bad ram, buggy disk utility, or saving buggy network file server. when try print pdfs browser or piece of software, try open distiller directly, or scan pdfs, receive following error:   unable create temporary folder. error: 5 - access denied.     i have had no problems until monday this.  did not install new software.  have done following:   scanned computer malware (malwarebytes) - 0 threats found scanned computer regular virus/registry issues (avg 2013) - 0 threats found repaired acrobat 9 pro installation - no change rebooted multiple times - no change   my computer runs windows 7 64-bit , , have adobe web premium cs5 (which comes acrobat 9 pro ).  not have access installation discs, moved. do still have access standard temp folder on system. driver writes ps file temp folder before calling distiller final conversion desired file location. hi, i have been using joomla (over wp) while now, , honest, think it's better however, 1 thing still eludes me how modify layout of joomla article default.php file. i know creating overrides , making 'new' default.php file in templates html folder, getting grips content of file mystery! i have searched on google , have not found sensible articles begin give me glimmer of hope! so, here. kneeling @ feet of joomla masters, asking humbly, if me out. sure not 1 in position. what post copy of article template files contents different sections of file highlighted in different colors. for example:- title - blue author - red category - green voting - yellow intro - purple intro pic - orange main content - pink main pic - aqua ... etc etc etc you idea? i sure make great 'sticky' forum. i have spent hours today messing around file , not php master, have been running around in circles. i know 'should' simple task, uninitiated, it's nightmare. regards, brendan imh...

hello. i've migrated joomla 3.2 (through 3.4.8 recomendations) 3.6.5 stable. i want use captcha 2 contact form (send-email). recaptcha plugin appears in plugin manager after update. there thr possibility choose captcha version (1 or 2). so removed captcha 1 data (keys) on "https://www.google.com/recaptcha/" page. i re-created captcha 2 keys domain. i went extensions > plugins > captcha - recaptcha, put version / site key / secret key, pressed 'save & close' & nothing changed. pressed 'save' - nothing again. plugin manager doesn't save changes captcha - recaptcha plugin, when choose version 2 & use new keys. ps haven't used non-standard extensions. contacts function send e-mail, use built-in captcha plugin. can see form recaptcha 2 should visible? the site/secret key have been entered in correct fields (and not switched around e.g. entering site key secret key , secret key site key?) have you 1) tried alternative browsers 2)...

hello, i'm using organizer 11. first time evething ok, persons/faces detected correctly, after few month organizer doesn't detected new faces , said every time faces detected when imported new fotos camera...   (i use german version, can not tell exact error message in english, hope unserstand mean.)   as found no solution, created new catalog , imported photos including tags newly empty catalog. allready tagged persons not persons anymore - tags in "imported keyword tags" (german: "importierte stichwort-tags") , not in "person/face tags". how can tell organizer imported tags persons/faces having no douplicates in person-tags , normal keyword-tags?   does else had problem had before, new faces not detected anymore after using pse nome month?   here background information system: pse 11, windows 8, 64 bit 8gb, intel i7. 3 catalogs each 8000-10000 photos.    thank you christian hello, i found solution problem new faces not detected anymore in organ...

hello thank looking in. i made flv file in after effects. 5 seconds long. convert (so think) in flash can park on website 'eye candy' able import flv after effects creation exported alpha flv. i import stage, have few options players when doing so. used stand alone player option when opening sequence. prewview , works fine using both browser , player mode when previewing movie. however, unsure how make file play or loop forever? unsure of exporting can upload wordpress site , stuff in header plays when browser opens page. know tall order ask. if either direct me link proper steps need learn appreciate it. thanks in advance direction on one.  have created flash poject or 2 , exported them swf , have had them work, have never used imported flv there diff? , how come not automatically loop without action ()stop ? i able flv flash loop, must have been glich on end. closed , reopened , reverted loop. still wondering, or forgot steps exporting work js ? cannot remember found info, ...

illustrator cs6 say have dieline measure 8.0" x 10.0". when apply crop marks dieline , measure horizontal width of crop mark on 1 side crop mark on other side gives me width of 8.0042". know why this? if measure vertical crop marks gives me 10.0042". it's not huge amount when you're dealing dieline packaging , dieline says 8.0" , crop marks 8.0042" apart affects placement of other marks such bleed, seals, folds, glue panels, etc. help! the stroke thickness being added measurement   cmd k (ctrl k on windows) uncheck: use preview bounds More discussions in Illustrator adobe

hi there, when have reader pdf open , selected extends beyond bottom of screen, i'm unable bring mouse cursor bottom of screen in order "un-hide" windows task bar.  not case other applications.  did not see options change in edit > preferences.  i'm using windows 7 professional , reader 11.0.2.   thanks, kirk i don't see behavior on windows 7 system.  can use ctrl+esc make start menu , taskbar appear, or alt+tab switch between tasks.
