Thread: Gparted on Ubuntu Portable (colinux)

i can't gparted install. error terminal is:

code:
the following packages have unmet dependencies: gparted: depends: libparted0 (>= 2.2-1) not going installed e: broken packages
okay, fine, way, sudo apt-get install libparted0

code:
the following packages have unmet dependencies: libparted0: depends: libparted0debian1 (= 2.2-5ubuntu5) 2.2-5ubuntu5.2 installed e: broken packages
no way! sudo apt-get install libparted0debian1

code:
libparted0debian1 newest version. libparted0debian1 set manually installed.
libparted doesn't gparted? rid of it!

omg, it! linux wierd. think slax philosophy better.

ok, why gparted not see of partitions? guess need learn how read hardware software diagrams see how cooperative colinux is. have link that?

i hoping take @ partition naming linux (sda this, sda that...) know details installing grub.

see, installed opensuse while ago, , when went try out unattended 7 install, mbr got wiped out, , never able restore grub again. next time mbr before installing windows.

anyway, happened notice colinux , promised hoping for: way run linux without giving windows tools @ once, , without having reboot.

can't [solved] tag off thread. though did solve little intermediary step lead no-where. want know 1 thing: is true gparted never have access disk partitions when run within cooperative linux?
