Thread: [11.10] Desktop Ubuntu Hibernates itself after Update

hello folks,

having desktop (no laptop or such, bigtower) ubuntu 11.10 , after update few days ago computer started hibernates out of blue every 5-60 minutes. screen went black , cumpoter turns off. when pressing power-button comes life directly (with short time of high load) , bootes completly scratch (i think when hibernating fails).

curious thing few minutes before auto-hibernation enters fast keys "ba--" , [right], [down], [left], setting curser in middle of 2 '-'. when chatting seeing in text-field of in console or whereever focus on. saves work , few minutes later hibernation starts.

having same mysterious bahaviour on his/her machine? can tell me how stop it?
