about month or ago joomla site organisation i'm involved stopped working - volunteered have see wrong.

when visit url site blank page. same if try access administrator - blank page. i've never worked on joomla , barely touched php can figure out may because php has been upgraded on shared hosting , version of joomla old support new version.

is diagnosis correct (this give blank pages)? if how upgrade given can't in administrator?

if have upload new version on top of existing version mess addons listed?

j3.4.e doesn't work on php 7 ... host updated php version. use php 5.x ... set in host's cp or in .htaccess

when can access make backup before attempting update. advisable set protostar default template , disable 3rd party extensions before attempting update.
