Thread: 11.04 - no sound input (worked fine in ubuntu 9.04)

after years of linux still of noob (trying avoid terminal , stick gnome & guis) , god punishes me it. need sound... ubuntu studio 11.04 (freshly installed on new partition months ago) seems unable capture input signal. in old system, ubuntu 9.04, input had worked fine (i able capture signal audacity etc) , still if boot (it's still there, on unused partition). obviuously keeping 9.04 purpose semi-optimal, starting fact it's not supported anymore. need working in ubuntu studio 11.04.

have terratec ewx 2494 soundcard (with infamous ice1712 [envy24] soundchip) in pc.
other factors eliminated (cable etc), software problem of sort.

ask pointers start? data must gather first?

after went terminal , opened alsamixer ("alsamixer") , turned input volume down , again, worked. don't understand why didn't before (db gain of input sound @ 0%, i.e. sound input should have been received 100% now), sure glad now.

Falang and too many redirects - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello i don't know if i'm posting in right place , i'm apologise have searched solution long time , couldn't find . my problem starts when have install component falang (translation component ). after time decided uninstall , problem starts. go extension tab meny in left column press manage button, list on right found falang component , delete it, when did website not accessible did stupidest thing install falang package file 1 more time , here problem, when trying open website message showing: "website redirected many times. try clearing cookies. err_too_many_redirects" i have cleared cookies didn't help. have used tool "header checker tool" , result "301 moved permanently " please because don't know do. thank you setka Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Extensions for Joomla! 3.x
