Thread: Execute a *.jar file in another directory?

hi,

have .jar file want execute on boot.

if i'm in correct directory, following comand works perfect:

code:
java -jar file.jar
but has use files, in same directory. if start directory, this:

code:
java -jar folder/file.jar
the programm creates it's own files in current directory i'm in , ignores files in "folder".

need, command, can put /etc/rc.local. there option java or there way?

btw im using openjdk-6.

you symlink 1 of /bin folders. android debug bridge (adb) instead of having cd '$home/android-sdk-linux_x86/platform tools/' can type 'adb' in terminal talk phone. adb java executable.
