Thread: Difference between ISO and Cdrdao format?

i'm copying cd computer image file first time in ubuntu. default target format image file "cdrdao image" rather "iso", surprises me.

there noticeable difference between 2 formats other range of applications able burn them? loose information using iso format instead? (i want target disk burned image pretty identical original data cd)

it means open source format cross-platform, i.e. meant run on os. shouldn't matter.
