hi,   i setting small renderfarm. have 3 render nodes , read/write project files from/to xsan server. nodes have rights read/write on server once start aerender in terminal (apparently) random errors these two:   aerender error: after effects error: opening resource file /volumes/xsanserver/render files/comp 1_00023.jpg   or   aerender error: after effects error: can't set catalog info file /volumes/xsanserver/render files/comp 1_00023.jpg.   my first guess there kind of problems nodes trying write same file @ same first error pops when use 1 of render nodes alone.   rendernodes running osx 10.6.8 , after effects cs6.   any clue these errors come or mean? hi there. have problems printing adobe reader in windows 8 environment. printing defaul "onenote", , can't print screen change normal printer. when try print (with button or ctrl-p) print screen opens split second , adobe reader closes.   i disable "onenote" default, can't print screen stay open long enough me select regular printer. grateful advice. sure there easy fix--i don't know is. tried uninstalling , re-installing adobe reader, able print rest of 1 day. nest day--back square one.   thanks. hello,   scenario: 15 minute, 720p, 59.94 program using premiere cs6. 2 runs of same program placed back-to-back on timeline , burned standard def dvd via dynamic link encore (account can purchase 30 minute blocks of time need play same program twice).  burned sd dvd delivery local cable broadcaster. transitions used premiere's cross dissolve.   after burning dvd 30 frame transitions on first instance of program play fine. on second instance of program transitions not smooth.   problem not detectable when playing timeline in program monitor or on external sony pro production monitor.   i've never seen i've done program played twice, in succession.   i deleted render files , re-rendered , re-burned. no luck.   thanks insights.   wsmith   the first thing i'd recommend skip dynamic link , export out of pp using mpeg2-dvd preset.  create double run in pp sequence end 1 export.
