cs6 design premium, os x.   something wrong dreamweaver on mac: not open files have created on dreamweaver.   i can file>open , show dreamweaver file is, rather display file's code, dw window "blips" second , returns plain gray (no document open). had instructor @ school repeat this; *much* more experienced dw am, , baffled.   mind, not dealing a  site; .html , .php files have been created me on computer using dreamweaver.   even re-installed dw other night..installed entire cs6 suite in fact, , freshly upgraded adobe's latest updaters cs6 apps in suite.   no improvement.   any thoughts on how dw behave itself? other cs6 apps use act fine.   thank you!   w have tried clearing dw cache file?   http://forums.adobe.com/thread/494811   even after re-install, can stay corrupted, unless run cleaner tool. i trying install trial version of dreamweaver cs6 using adobe download asisstant. able download .dmg file , open. able start installer, enter adobe user name , password, prompted enter proxy user name , password. after entering proxy user name , password (correctly!), receive error message says "proxy password: unable authenticate user. please check user name , password , try again". so, after numberous attempts, restarted, checked user name , password (confirmed correct), network , internet working correctly, , have turned off firewall ip address , still not able past proxy password error message. have tried deleting .dmg dreamweaver file , re-downloading, still unsuccessful. can me? -running mac os x mountain lion -networked computer ip address -internet , network running correctly scfoundry inputting proxy information?  utilizing network preference panes advanced options?  have tried inputting username , password there credentials available? i have large library of flac encoded audio files appropriate cover art image embedded in metatag information plus stored in album folder cover.jpg. used great little script called flac2mp3 convert flac files mp3 wifes ipod not embed cover art in mp3 file creates. no matter thought, rsync'ed cover.jpg appropriate mp3 folder. unfortunately, itunes not read cover.jpg file apparently read embedded cover art guess question is, there tool automatically add cover.jpg image metadata tag of mp3 files within folder? ideally command line? there useful windows tool called mp3tag done on ubuntu server wife has download files. thanks! there python module called python-eyed3, , command line tool (eyed3) can handle adding images mp3s. both in software center. here's example , , here's project page. hope helps. regards. hi, have .jar file want execute on boot. if i'm in correct directory, following comand works perfect: code: java -jar file.jar but has use files, in same directory. if start directory, this: code: java -jar folder/file.jar the programm creates it's own files in current directory i'm in , ignores files in "folder". need, command, can put /etc/rc.local. there option java or there way? btw im using openjdk-6. you symlink 1 of /bin folders. android debug bridge (adb) instead of having cd '$home/android-sdk-linux_x86/platform tools/' can type 'adb' in terminal talk phone. adb java executable. i tried remove via extensions / manager uddeim 4.0 extension , fails ... , gives me message (attached). how 1 remove uddeim 4.0 manually? extension still shows after clicking uninstall... checked folders , folders not there... joomla database entry need remove manually? what joomla version; authors website plugin states uddeim works in j3.0-j3.5, doesn't mention j3.6, j3.7 or j3.8. yes you'd need remove database entries manually. matter of selecting correct tables (i don't know prefix uddeim uses - maybe uddeim_ select them in phpmyadmin , "drop" them (that delete them). first go phpmyadmin , search such tables; post screenshot of list of tables reply here of think might right tables. hello everyone, main distribution ubuntu 10.04 on x86 desktop pc. not have disk burner. run iaktos install software usb thumbdrive. have downloaded iaktos_v7.iso , turn bootable usb, able install iaktos on partition of hdd. tried mounting iso onto /mnt/iso directory of ubuntu distro, dd boot0 file usb key mbr, dd boot1h file usb key root, copy boot file usb key root. usb key not boot, "boot error" message appears how should go it? should install grub2 on thumb drive instead? appreciated. thanks, manube you have elsewhere. site in question belongs school, upgraded after got hacked (it joomla 3.2 or so, had never upgraded it. ever. hacked bits.) not easy update because hacked. now menu items randomly unpublishing themselves. new menu items wrong. old sub menu items showing under correct header in front end, in admin menu item root parent. move them , blooey, die. a glance in database shows have type 'component' instead of urls, params don't match working ones. given component id. have tried individually changing of these fix nothing working. if try move old item unpublishes , refuses republish. admittedly unconventional update. moving newer joomla attaching database newer core files , hitting fix database. (i think 3.6 don't remember certain). given how badly hacked, did best in (much short) time frame given. though have these bugs, advice how fix appreciated. the way site being restored hack never going work , plain wrong. have chance restore site following steps in post viewtopic.p...

i have logo want layer on top of background image act header webpage.   the easy thing create image on photoshop layering background image , logo, logo blend effect, , save , upload. problem want background image resize browser window - without resizing logo.   therefore, figured save background image , logo files separately, , layer them using html , css. comparable therefore, want keep background of logo transparent. set blend mode of logo linear dodge (add) - whatever size background image scaled to, logo remains same size, same blend mode. problem when save logo transparent png file (24-bit), not maintaining blend mode.   what doing wrong?   (photoshop cs4) you're doing nothing wrong. png file not store blending mode. maybe css3 allow specify linear dodge (add). recover raid 5 array i have software (mdadm) raid 5 array (3) 3tb drives, gpt , formatted ntfs (the idea make compatible windows, isn't possible). these purely data drives. upgraded boot drive , haven't been able mount array since. assembles fine, shows 3 drives in sync, persistent superblocks. can fail recovery drive , add , sync fine. read ntfs gparted. when try , mount array, though, ntfs-3g error array has no superblock , filesystem inconsistent. gparted shows /dev/md0 registers unallocated. haven't use mdadm --create out of fear format drives, , can't use mdadm --build on raid5. fdisk useless on drives size. mdadm chkdsk useless windows won't see raid array. parted won't handle ntfs drives. ntfsfix gives 'bad magic' error. @ point need access data on drives (have 6 tb copy them to) when mount drives individually raid mount folders. --------------mdstat results: cat /proc/mdstat...

here's puzzler. i've been playing 11.10, 11.04 , 10.10. same set-up (as far can anyway) same graphic driver same software same ext4 format. 11.10 strains 2 graphic-heavy apps running , crash sooner or later. 11.04 can handle 2 stutters , stalls. crashes or locks three. beats stuffings out of hdd. 10.10 can handle 3, 4 or 5. slows down some. can hibernate , resume , , says "gimme more gimme more". why? i forsee moving recurring, it's onward march of technology - 11.x releases heavier, more features , linux 3 kernel, use unity - gnome 3 , major compiz tweaking, it's bleeding edge versus tested - it's why ubuntu releases it's lts releases (10.04) , why it's 12.04 support increasing 5 years! unity , gnome 3 in general still new technology , slickness , stability increase rapidly on next couple of releases - we've had unity since 10.10 ne after all! ...

greetings, not "new" premiere, left game before blu ray came along.  using premiere pro 6 author first blu ray disc.  importing material premiere has dts-hd 5.1 soundtrack.  after making appropriate adjustemets segment properties, imported video lays down fine.  run video in segment window, can see 5.1 channels doing their thing on levels meter.  life good.   whe go "make" blu ray disc (using encore, new since left nle), assume burn content (my movie) dts-hd 5.1 track, or can generate stereo track well?  important not every blu ray player can decode dts-hd signals.  need blu ray able play in blu ray player want surround sound track there , used, if player can decode it.  make sense?   my imported clips handbrake products mkv files.  when attempt generate handbrake mp4 contains both stereo , dst-hd 5.1 track, premiere seems see stereo track.  wierd.   i apologize in advance if stupid question, i'm working project , don't ha...

dear all, i've got 2 hp proliant 380 g7 servers running ubuntu server 10.04 lts. come 4 internal ethernet ports working fine , expected , quad port ethernet pci card makes me head aches. vendor of ethernet card qlogic (aka netxen?). chip nx3031 should ubuntu-certified ( see_here ) - @ least more or less, since i'm not pci domain number. both servers connected back-2-back via ethernet card. use cat6 cabling , tried both streight , crossed cables. started used cables , ended brand new ones. attemps made no difference. ethernet card recognized os. ports can configured , show in ifconfig , ip link output. unfortunately not possible configure ethernet-specific parameters autonegotiaten or line speed ethtool. isn't possible bring link up. 1 control led green , other yellow. jk@raider:~$ lspci -d | grep netxen 0000:0b:00.0 ethernet controller: netxen incorporated nx3031 multifunction 1/10-gigabit server adapter (rev 42) 0000:0b...

i have been reluctant bring edited psd master files lightroom, point regularly purge catalog accidentally find way in there.   i'm relative newcomer lightroom, having relied on bridge/acr/photoshop workflow many years. partly historical reasons, raw files , psds serve separate , different purposes in workflow. previously, went through photoshop produce master file, batch processed different output. still have terabyte's worth of old psds containing layers, smart objects , whatnot; of them complex files. , still need build complex psds special purposes.   anyway, that's background. want use keywords , of other wonderful lightroom tools organize them.   but have able separate dng/nef psd @ glance. or instantly filter 1 or other. there's no way can spend time looking @ individual file extensions in filmstrip try figure out which. has obvious , instantaneous, deadlines tight, , i'm in rush. color labeling work, use picks vs rejects, that's not option. flagging or r...

i started first part of download , completed 4 hours of it, tried download external harddrive instead of operating c drive.  c drive full.  last part of process told me click install again did canceled it.  looks though went c drive , have 6.24 gb left , creative suite 6 has 6.22 gb of files.  there can file external harddrive? adobe applications, , applications, designed installed on same drive contains operating system.  can customize installation locations there temporary files , shared components installed on c: drive.   with 6.22 gb of free space recommend cleaning on drive , possibly archive of documents increase amount of available disk space. i'm having trouble ccsm in 11.10, running in virtualbox. none of settings try change in ccsm seem have effect. example, tried set launcher never autohide, nothing changed. same every other setting. unity running fine. have feeling i'm missing simple, can't find else problem. ideas? make sure use compiz , not metacity. since ubuntu runs in virtualbox, it's either unity2d gets loaded, , doesn't run compiz. hello all,   i sure question has been asked , answered, no matter how word in search engines never solution matches issue exactly, nor solution solves problem.   the issue run when make photo black , white , bring out single color selecting areas of color magic selector. once have colored area selected either invert , turn rest of image black , white, or create new duplicate layer , delete out content in 1 layer , merge color , black , white layers make final image.   my problem white gap between colors , black , white images, or layers. have tried use refine edge menu option, never solves problem feather option, , move edge option not cover gap, move it.   i have resorted using healing brush hide line or merge colored , black , white layers together. issue times in highly visible spot , healing brush not make great look. in other words can tell merged 2 colors or images together.   i have have issue when use selection tool on images blur portions of. seems happ...

hopefully, title of question isn't misleading in way. let me tell entire predicament, , maybe guys can better me. past month or ubuntu (run 11.04) extremely slow after short amount of time. i'd log in , start surfing web, , slow crawl , freeze up. nothing ever crashed, , if waited long enough resume without problems. found restarting system (if able to) fix problem session, if booted again continue on next boot. coincidence seemed happen after 11.10 upgrade message pop up. so, 1 day popped , decided upgrade. end of world. installer must have crashed because computer turned off , grub boot stage 1.5 error 24. friend of mine burned 11.10 live cd me , went in trying fix problem. found hard drive showing "314 gb file system" , unable mounted. decided complete reinstall, after not finding real way fix problem. installer recognized 11.04, , offered upgrade 11.10. took shot , tried it, installer crashed before start, lo , behold file system mounted , ...
