hello,   we have built out dynamic page includes cfmap call, , places numerous items on map. dynamic page accepts state abbreviation parameter via querystring, such template.cfm?state=ca. when page processes, query points want add on map located in state, , choose centerpoint. however, page displays first centerpoint ever passed cfmap tag regardless of new centerpoint feed @ run time. our markers appear correctly, dont appear on map since center point off.   is bug? due caching? how can correct this? hello,   i @ wits end this. have 3 websites can't upload .php, .css. or other files extension except .html (and .html files won't work if in folder) without ftp timing out. thru dreamweaver (cs5), cyberduck, transmit, filezilla, name it. can upload files fine thru host's online file manager (godaddy , bluehost). , seem able upload fine thru pc using filezilla. however, files upload thru pc not show on remote server in dreamweaver. show in cyberduck, , filezilla on mac, , can load pages thru browser, know there.   i have 1 site on godaddy works ok, has seemed hiccup since let domain expire day. wierd thing not have use passive ftp site connect, other sites.   there must setting somewhere missing either in dreamwaever or mac's wireless connection.   i using belkin wireless router, not believe problem since things work on pc laptop.   anyone have ideas?   thanks in advance! if can't stable connection host ftp client, think router or isp connection @ fault....

in new version 4.4 of lightroom, tried play sharpness effect produce lens blur through gradualted filter.  dont see change in picture when sliding way left cursor -100.  blur effect invisible.  there wrong in settings cold prevent function work ? lol. shouldn't blur, doesn't sharpen - it's little bit blurry, not close lens blur. if want noticable blur effect try clarity instead of sharpness. hi, wondering if removed gpu render mode option desktop air? it's still there in mobile air, , performs on ipad. "direct" on desktop performs okay, not "gpu" on ipad (which should able outperform). i can't find info on this, documentation still mentions "gpu" option, it's not there in flash cs6. , if change descriptor file directly, options in flash changed "auto" cpu , performs poorly. any appreciated, thanks. my understanding gpu mode deprecated on desktop.  adobe intends use direct , switch rendering pipelines stage3d/starling in order desktop performance afaik. after attempting update 3.7.0 3.6.5 using "update button" in control panel, i've had no control on menu items, i.e.: main menu, etc. (should not have use aforementioned button!) i did proper installation of 3.7.0 stable full package, did not correct issue. eventually had critical menu items published through using phpmyadmin. (i can, however, unpublish menu items @ back-end) i have since updated 3.7.2, have still issue. appreciated. note: fpa dump large forum. i have 2 images in sequence, , added "turn page" video transition between them. works fine except @ end of transition first image flashes 1 frame. happens transition use. have tried playing duration , location of transition, nothing helps :/ how fix this? have used turn page earlier? allowed 1 use in lifetime.   it looks have insufficient handles. either shorten duration or increase handles (overlap between clips). i set dual boot on macbook pro 5,5. created 30 gig partition on the160 gig hd 2 gig swap , installed ubuntu , works fine. however, i've noticed home folder has less 2 gigs of available space , have "30 gig file system" 1 folder called lost , found. can move home folder 30 gig files system or change memory allotted? i'm guessing can't. perhaps can store files on it? i've installed ubuntu , other distros on machines more times can count , new 1 me. what do: prepare ubuntu live usb , boot it. select usb pen drive. pc tries boot it. what happens i receive error message: verifying dmi pool data ....... update success boot error (that all, really, nothing more) what expected: normal boot procedure. some other information: 1) no matter how prepare usb, same result. usb works fine on other pc. 2) pc boot usb made boot ms-dos. 3) pc dual-boot, win7 , ubuntu(installed cd) 4) bios phoenix-award(version of bios dated 2008), motherboard comparatively new. 5) failed boot via plop linux boot manager. bup plus info: tried bypassing bios (i suspect) limitations plop livecd, still boot fails... i've weird problem can't identify cause of. i've moved site new server, server faster , has better caching etc. haven't yet pointed domain @ new server , site still work in progress on home page ( http://77.104.171.175/~worthi71/ ) have section called popular stories. this k2 module displays image , intro of popular articles selected categories. on old server, images loaded , pretty instantly, no problem @ all. on server, of images in module won't appear. when page first loads pretty every image in module on right after article called "target rounds" hasn't loaded. if click on browser tab have open , instantly click back, images there. if go view actual articles, images (actually larger version of image) loads quickly. i don't think it's image size aren't talking massive images massive file sizes , have been optimised anyway. the exact same images load fine on old server. i've tried turning off caching , cleared browser cache. i've ...
